Viking Table Research/ Intro

 My first day back at university resulted in me gathering reference and planning my first project. So far, I am planning on doing a captain's table with a viking theme. 

The second image in the first colume was my main inspiration, and my experimentational blockout is based on this. I would like to also incorporate a shield and ship somehow.

The textures would be rough wood mostly, with some metal in places. Sculpted wood designs would be a nice addition too.
